I tried to add a new user through the registration signup page and got the following error at the top of the page

    Hi I installed the buddypress corporate theme on my blog which means that I selected the theme only for buddy press not the main website- it works very well – but I need to edit the theme layout — where do I do that? please note that my main theme is another theme not buddy press

    so the theme under my appearance is the website theme not the buddypress theme?

    also, i am looking for someone to customize the theme for me — anyone out there you know?

    homehost.com/blog is the buddypress theme –

    One WPMU installation – theme selected for buddypress – which is corporate or social – regardless – my problem – I need to get to the theme editor – so i can add – remove widgets and edit content on the theme

    PROBLEM — one wpmu installation – the current theme editor is for the homehost.com theme – not the buddy press theme????

    is there a way I can access the buddy press theme – make my changes?

    I’m afraid there’s not much that can be done about that. You’ll just have to manually edit the theme via FTP.

    With the latest version of BuddyPress you actually shouldn’t even have a different theme for the frontpage as wp-content/bp-themes shouldn’t exist. So while it’s working for you now, don’t count on that solution to always work :wink:

    ok, if I want to change this text on the homepage of my buddypress theme

    “Welcome to your BuddyPress Fun theme!

    Change or remove the text here using the theme options”

    where do I find it if I ftp? it was not in page – header or index?

    @HOMEHOST: Under the admin section of your installation you will see a section on the right under appearance of theme options under there you can change any options for the theme. You don’t have to ftp just go under your admin and you can do it all without touching the files – there are a ton of settings you can change under there without even touching the code.
