weird problem with the navigation for Magazine Theme (Home page only)

For some reason the carousel and the navigation is broken on the home page. The drop down menus are empty and the only category that will work is “health” when I have about 18 other categories. I also can’t select any other category for the home page in the featured section except health.

    @hollysuso: Hmm do you have the settings set up under theme options? Also when you select the drop down under there for slideshow and also for any category what do you get to see – is that where you are saying you only get one showing? If so are those sub categories or main categories? I’ve not experienced this issue before so need to ask these questions to diagnosis. I’m puzzled as even the blog should be automatically pulling. Could you do a screenshot of your blog categories for me just the category page / pages and attach that so I can see your structure?

    Also can you try removing all your plugins bar buddypress and see if you still have the issue as sometimes a plugin could be interfering.

    Ok, I've removed all plugins and I'm attaching screenshot of the categories and pages. Also the settings page. I've chosen "Ladyexperts" as the category for the main image and still get nothing.

    What I mean by there’s nothing in the drop down, if you look at the home page navigation, the button that says magazine has a url= http://ladypreneurinternational.com/magazine# and the communities button is http://ladypreneurinternational.com/communities#

    The magazine button should show all of my categories that have articles published and the communities of course should have members, groups, and forums in it.

    @hollysuso: Do you have any posts in those categories as it will only show if you do. The magazine button will not show all posts in all categories that is just a holder for the drop down same as communities. They should just all show categories or the community listings.
