[WPMU DEV Dashboard] Save Whitelabel config

The Whitelabel feature of the WPMUDev Dashboard plugin is something I have to set on each and every WP site I manage. How come we don’t have the ability to save these configs yet?

Would be REALLY useful!!!

    We already have plans regarding implementing such a workflow, however, at the moment there isn’t any exact ETA we could share. I’ll make sure to bring this ticket to our team’s attention so that they are aware of your request too.

    Ah, the old “bring this ticket to our team’s attention” – where good ideas go to die. :)

    I figured I’d give white labeling some time to mature, and I just gave it a try for the first time. Unfortunately whitelabel isn’t fully implemented, it’s more like “light-gray”-label.

    And if the WPMU DEV member logs-out of the Hub on a site that’s beeing white-labelled, all of the custom labeling goes away and needs to be re-entered on the next login. Great job, QA!

    So, a year later, has this request to standardize this feature with all other DEV plugins been approved? Did anyone on the team ever give it any of their attention? As usual, we have no way of ever knowing.

    This is still in the pipeline but I’m afraid there isn’t any further news that could provide regarding its status at the moment.

    Our team is fully equipped with the upcoming Domain Reseller features.

    In case you are considering the Reseller feature, it would allow you to configure Custom Templates which you can white label according to your requirements and then re-use those Custom Templates whenever a new site is created out of the box through the reseller.

    Other than that, I’m afraid it’ll require using Branda and its import/export features and setting up the WPMU DEV Whitelabel feature manually.

    We do understand the existing setup isn’t the expected workflow you are looking at and will make sure our team is aware of your feedback.
