WPMUDEV and WP 3.0

Hi guys,

When WP 3.0 is released will it take away the divide between an MU install and a single install in terms of plugin compatibility?

There are loads of amazing plugins on this site I can’t use on a single install. Will they be compatible when 3.0 is available?

    Not really. When WPMU plugins are not compatible with WP it’s not usually for technical reasons as much as they are different use cases.

    Is there a specific plugin you wish was compatible?

    Hi Aaron,

    The 2 I really like at the moment are follow up emails which I think is just great and mailchimp.

    I can’t get either to work with a single install as no menus show up in the dashboard.

    Any way they can be made to work?

    Aaron, I would absolutely love to see the autofollow up mails work on a single install.

    I was really impressed when I got the series of mails from WPMUDEV shortly after signing up.

    That level of constant communication to members is superb and I would love to be able to do that.

    What are the cchances of you guys producing it?

    Any idea when the Mailchimp plugin will be patched to work with BP1.2.3 properly in the dashboard?
